Wedding Ceremonies

There are various options for your wedding ceremony at Oxnead Hall, with the Orangery, the Long Room, and of course, Oxnead Hall’s on-site church all licensed for ceremonies.

St Michael’s church is a charming medieval building ideal for traditional and religious weddings presided over by a Vicar. It seats up to 90 guests and is complete with wood pews, stunning stained glass windows, organ and candelabra-style lighting.

The Long Room is suited to larger ceremonies, seating approximately 140 guests. Much like the Great Barn it leads on from, the Long Room is spacious and airy with double doors opening to the courtyard. Large windows line the room, creating a natural aisle for you to walk down and the perfect environment for professional photographs of your vows.

If you’re looking for outdoor wedding ideas, Oxnead Hall’s formal gardens and open green spaces make it one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Norfolk. Please note, outdoor ceremonies at Oxnead Hall are performed as duo ceremonies; the legal part of the marriage is carried out in one of the licensed locations after the ceremony in the grounds.

Seating around 50 guests, the Orangery is ideal for smaller ceremonies. The building itself is rectangular and spacious and features exposed brick, large windows, stone flooring and fresh white walls, meaning you can embellish this room with your unique taste.
