Searching for their dream wedding venue in Norfolk, Josie and Luke knew Oxnead Hall was the one the moment they set eyes on it!
“It was just perfect. The gardens were my favourite. We looked at other venues but nothing compared to Oxnead.” – Josie.
Setting an October wedding date, the happy couple chose a dusky pink colour scheme, working with the natural beauty of the venue to create a beautiful setting. White and pink flowers were a wonderful choice, alongside an elegant cake and contemporary acrylic signage.
“I didn’t want too many lights, or drapes or big accessories that would cover up the natural beauty of the barn. My wedding coordinator, Jaymi was just amazing! Nothing was too much trouble.” – Josie
Shopping with her mum and sister for that special dress, Josie fell in love with the second dress she tried on, a stunning design with lace bodice and tulle skirt.
“I didn’t want to take it off so knew it had to be the one!” – Josie
Meanwhile, Luke and his groomsmen looked the part in grey three-piece suits with bow ties. And finally, the bridesmaids were beautiful in dusky pink dresses to match the colour scheme.
The sun shone throughout this autumnal day, perfectly reflecting the mood of the happy couple and their guests.
“I smiled throughout the ceremony. After all, I was marrying my absolute best friend and the most perfect father to our children. I couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle and see him.” – Josie
Following their romantic ceremony in the Fountain Room, drinks and canapés were served on the lawn. Moving in to dine, a delicious wedding breakfast was followed by a fabulous party and dancing.
“The meal was delicious, and the dancing was so much fun. Overall our wedding day was flawless and I cannot thank everyone involved enough.”
