When we arrived at Oxnead Hall in 2011, it was love at first sight! We were both working in London and were looking for a small home that would allow us to relax when away from the office. Despite it’s grandeur, the mystique and romance of Oxnead captured our hearts and imagination and downsizing went out the window.
Oxnead experienced it’s first wedding one year after we moved in. Our daughter Eleanor, who is a teacher was married to Richard, an Army Officer, in 2012 and that event was the seed that grew into today’s award winning venue. The barn, accommodation and gardens have been lovingly restored with no expense spared. We enjoy hosting private events at this large but surprisingly intimate venue and when it comes to weddings, our emphasis is on creating a bespoke and luxurious experience.
We are delighted to have been awarded Brides Magazine ‘Wedding Venue of the Year in Norfolk’ in 2017 and 2018 and more recently The English Wedding Awards ‘Wedding venue of the Year’
