Your exclusive use of Oxnead Hall includes the award winning Great Barn for your wedding breakfast and wedding party. You may also choose to welcome your guests with a champagne reception at the Orangery and provide entertainment or supper for your evening guests in the Fountain Room or Fountain Courtyard.
The award winning Great Barn is the main event venue sitting up to 200 for dinner and has recently been completely refurbished. Whilst retaining all its historic charm it now also incorporates air cooling, underfloor heating, a sound system and atmospheric lighting. The flexible space which is fully accessible can sit up to 200 guests for your wedding breakfast. There is plenty of room for a dance floor, live band, DJ, or other musicians. In addition, there is a fully serviced bar and carefully designed toilets including disabled and baby changing facilities. The rustic setting of the barn, combined with the latest technology allow you to create the country or rustic wedding of your dreams.
The light and airy Fountain Room is adjacent to the Great Barn and available for you to use as you wish for your reception. Try comfortable sofas for your guests to relax with friends and family or games for entertainment. Alternatively have supper served to your evening guests; the choice is yours. For smaller parties the Fountain Room will sit up to 80 guests and provide a more intimate alternative to the Great Barn.
The Great Barn and the Fountain Room open out to the charming Fountain Courtyard. Ample outdoor seating allows your guests to relax and catch up with friends and family in this sheltered courtyard surrounded by lavender and roses. The fountain which is lit at night creates a spectacular centrepiece around which your guests will gather to chat and drink together before returning to the Great Barn to continue the celebrations.
Treat your guests to a welcoming champagne reception in the romantic orangery. In Summer months allow your guests to mingle on the parterre next to the orangery, or in Winter months entertain them inside the Orangery with your choice of decoration for a winter wonderland. The statues, ornate carvings and terracotta floor provide the perfect romantic setting for your reception at any time of year and whatever the weather.
